Music has been known to have positive effects on mental health, but there is not equal access to musical instruments and instruction across different communities. ​

Music Matters was founded in 2020 with the vision that every student should have access to music resources and instruction.​

We first started Music Matters by donating earnings from streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music to various causes. From there, we expanded to donate instruments and share the gift of music with students in underserved communities.
